Developing and launching a website does not have to be a daunting project, in fact it is really quite simple if you have the help of someone like us to guide you through the process. To help you get started, let me break it down into four steps.
I’m not sure how far you have gone with your decision process, or research, but let me try to help get you started. For any web project there are basically 4 pieces; Domain Name registration, Web hosting, Web Development, and Site Maintenance. Let me address them individually.
Domain Name Registration:
Every website must have a name registered that will serve as your virtual store address. This is the www.yourname.com (.org, .biz, etc.) Nearly all of the short 3-5 letter names have been registered, but it is very likely that you can still register your business name, mission, tagline, or motto. You can register a name yourself, but I would caution you to be careful who you choose. Make certain that you can register the domain name with someone will give you Username and Password access, and the ability to manage the name. Many web registrars will register a name for less money, but you may find it difficult or impossible to control the name later. When we register the name on your behalf, we’ll manage the renewals, and billing for you. We offer both public and private registration services. We can explain the benefits of private registration if you are interested.

Your web host is the virtual garage for your website. Whereas the domain name is the address or location, the host is the structure that keeps your website. Hosting prices are based on varying features that make your website accessible to web browsers. In addition to physical space, you should look to see what kind of “extras” areas offered: Data Transfer? e-mail? Spam filtering? Virus filtering? Back-up capabilities? Site statistics? Tech Support? E-commerce? Flexibility?
Our universal hosting plan is scalable to your needs. We keep it simple, “unlimited everything,” Unlimited space, bandwidth, forwarding, databases. All so you never have to worry about what next month will cost, or if you will need to increase your space as you move ahead in your project. We manage everything on our end, and offer both Windows and Linux plans. We will do all the setup for you all for only $249.99 per year. No monthly fees, no set up fees.
A single email account is available with each domain at no charge. Additional fees will apply to set up additional email services.

Custom Website development:
Heartland Hosting, LLC takes great pride in the quality of sites we have published. Over the past seven years we have assisted hundreds of companies to develop their websites. To see some of these sites, use the "Our Work" link on the left side.
Every custom site we develop is an artistic creation in its own right. Heartland Hosting, LLC does not use “cookie cutter” templates. Heartland Hosting, LLC works very closely to match a site design to your existing printed materials, logo design, color scheme, store design, or all of the above. How much you spend on your website is mostly up to you. We have built very nice sites for as little as $350. Most of the sites we develop are in the $750-$1500 range.
Once you pay for the development, we believe the site should be your property, and if you desire to relocate to a new provider in the future, it is our responsibility to assist you with a smooth and effortless transition.
Site Maintenance:
This is how we separate ourselves from the clutter that is out there. First, we are real people doing real work; we have over 25 years of retail, advertising, and public relations experiences. We offer simple explanations to your problems. We are here 7 days a week, and when you call us, you talk to us. I know that is hard to believe, but unless we are already on the phone, you can talk to a real person. We believe that your concerns need to be addressed now, not tomorrow.
Secondly, we maintain the sites we have developed. Our customers don’t have the time, and most of the time don’t won’t the bother. When you send us a change or revision for your site, it will be done usually in less than 24 hours. Most of the time, it’s done immediately, and you’ll receive an email notification when it’s completed. Finally we want our customers to be knowledgeable, because you can be our best salesperson.
Maintenance for the year (up to 4 hours per month); ie: changes revisions, additions, pictures, etc. $300/Annually or $29.99/Monthly.
Heartland Hosting, LLC will travel if necessary to accommodate our customers. NOTE:Travel is commensurate with the size and scope of the project. In addition, with the recent rapid rise in fuel prices, Heartland Hosting, LLC will bill a service call charge and/or mileage for all service calls that requires travel greater than 40 miles roundtrip. This would include visits to take digital photos, assist with e-mail, or consultation. A minimum charge of $25.00 or 25.00/hour to and from your location, which ever is greater. In the majority of situations, with digital cameras and email capabilities, it may not be required to travel to your location.
